It
all started with a simple hiker’s bottle. Today, the SIGG
bottle has acquired cult status. What happened is a success story
that started in Biel in 1908. Küng, Sigg & Cie. manufactured
leisure goods, kitchenware and electrical appliances. The company
relocated to Frauenfeld in 1916, where it helped pioneer the
legendary tradition of Swiss quality. Since 1998, SIGG has
concentrated on its core business: drinking bottles that deliver
ultimate customer benefit. SIGG now has what many covet: a famous
brand and it is that which has made Sigg what it is today: number 1
– and recognised even by New York’s Museum of Modern
Art.
SIGG,
the brand leader for comprehensive, high-quality drinking systems
for leisure and sports use. SIGG products are distributed in over
40 countries worldwide, with new markets and channels being added
all the time.
Tests show that this is the only bottle with an
inner coating resistant to fruit acids and isotonic drinks. Swiss

Those sharp-eyed Michael Palin fans will
have seen him drinking from a Sigg Bottle (an Adventure Traveller
Classic in Dark Blue) during his 2004 BBC series Himalayan
Adventure. The same model of Sigg Bottle was also used by one
of the Team in the 2008 BBC2 Series of Ben Fogle's Extreme
Dreams Sahara ll. Sigg Bottles can often be seen being used by the
Formula 1 McLaren Racing Team.
