Moser Elektrogerate GmbH is one of the world's leading manufacturers of hair and animal clippers with 500 employees. For over 30 years, professional animal clippers "Made in Germany" have been coming out of Unterkirnach in the Black Forest. Professional quality, high performance clippers. In 1996 the Company was acquired by The Wahl Clipper Corporation of America. Moser's Hungarian production plant, Kuno Moser Kft, and the shares of Ermila GmbH, a distributor of professional hair clippers, were also included in the acquisition. All activities of the two companies were merged into a global personal care organization. The synergistic effect of combined research, development, production, logistics and marketing resulted in a more extensive global presence for both companies. Founded in 1946, Moser is recognized as a leading international manufacturer of products similar to those of Wahl, including hair clippers, massagers, shavers and pet trimmers. Moser's product line also included oral hygiene appliances. All Moser branded products are gradually being re-branded under the Wahl name, however, products are still manufactured at the German factory to the same standards of engineering excellence.
